* - CAA Secretary John Dransfield has stepped down as secretary of EFCA after 7 years in the post but he will continue as CAA secretary and support EFCA on a number of key European committees
* - Dr Roland Harbron has been appointed to succeed John as the new EFCA secretary
* - CAA will host the 2008 EFCA General Assembly in June.
* - The European Concrete Platform is an alliance of European associations representing the precast and ready mixed concrete industries and the main constituents, cement, aggregates and aggregates. The platform has recently a launched a website http://www.europeanconcrete.eu
